Maths Trail

Third and Fourth Class had great fun doing Maths Trails this week. We were busy estimating, measuring, drawing, labeling, counting and timing in the beautiful May sunshine.
Did you know there are over 30 windows in our school?
Have you ever counted all the faces painted on our wall?
We noted all the 2D and 3D shapes around our schoolyard and school building, there are lots!
There are many examples of straight, curved, vertical, horizontal and parallel lines to be seen.
Most of us could bounce a basketball at least 80 times in one minute. However, very few of us could score 10 baskets in the same time!
Have a look at some photos of our class enjoying our Maths class today.
